How to use INTERAC®
Here's a quick and simple guide on how to pay using INTERAC. For limits, timings, and additional details, please see the deposit and withdrawal options article.
Depositing via INTERAC
- Choose INTERAC to pay and follow the instructions on screen.
- Find and select your bank.
- Your bank may offer you up to three options: INTERAC Online, INTERAC e-Transfer, and INTERAC Request Money.
INTERAC Online
INTERAC Online allows you to complete your transaction in a continuous sequence without leaving our app/site. If you choose Online:
- You will be redirected to your bank to sign in securely.
- Once signed in, you will be prompted to authorise the payment.
- You will be redirected back to Lottomart as your transaction is being processed.
- Upon confirmation, funds will be credited to your account and you will be notified in our app/site. This might take about a minute.
- If you had scratchcards, lottery bets, and/or bundles in your cart, you will still need to complete your cart order using your deposited funds. Games can be played directly with your deposited funds.
INTERAC e-Transfer
INTERAC e-Transfer is a payment that requires you to use your banking app/site to send us funds. If you choose e-Transfer:
- You will be presented with details you need to use for your INTERAC e-Transfer.
- Sign into your banking app or site and initiate an INTERAC e-Transfer.
- Make sure to copy and paste all the details presented: recipient name, email, amount, message, and where applicable, security question and answer.
- Confirm the INTERAC e-Transfer.
- Upon confirmation, funds will be credited to your account and you will be notified in our app/site. This takes about 6 minutes on average.
- If you had scratchcards, lottery bets, and/or bundles in your cart, you will still need to complete your cart order using your deposited funds. Games can be played directly with your deposited funds.
Because INTERAC e-Transfers are done outside of Lottomart, you have time once you've initiated the request. To see what requests you still have pending or to double-check the details provided for the transfer, go to your cart and tap the pending payments area at the bottom.
If you change your mind about an INTERAC e-Transfer request, you can also cancel it by tapping it from the pending screen and selecting cancel payment. Requests that go unconfirmed for too long will expire and will need to be restarted again. You can check how long you have left in the pending area.
INTERAC Request Money
INTERAC Request Money is a payment that requires you to complete a bank transfer by following a link sent by your bank. If you choose Request Money:
- You will be asked to confirm your email and phone number.
- When confirmed, your bank will send you a secure link via email.
- Follow that link and complete the steps as required by your bank.
- Confirm the request.
- Upon confirmation, funds will be credited to your account and you will be notified in our app/site. This takes about 8 minutes on average.
- If you had scratchcards, lottery bets, and/or bundles in your cart, you will still need to complete your cart order using your deposited funds. Games can be played directly with your deposited funds.
If you change your mind about a Request Money request, you can also cancel it by tapping it from the pending screen and selecting cancel payment. Requests that go unconfirmed for too long will expire and will need to be restarted again. You can check how long you have left in the pending area.
Withdrawing via INTERAC
Withdrawing is only possible via INTERAC e-Transfer. To get started:
- Select INTERAC on the withdrawal screen. This option will only appear if you previously deposited via INTERAC.
- Confirm the amount to withdraw.
- Verify your INTERAC account name, email address, and mobile phone number. Please note that any discrepancies between your Lottomart account and information you provide here may require additional verification.
- Submit the request.
- Once approved, the money will be transferred to your account.
