Verify your account
As a business regulated by Great Britain's Gambling Commission and Gibraltar's Gambling Division, we are legally required to carry out KYC or Know Your Customer verification on our players. It's common practice for regulated sites to do this - and you may well have been through this process elsewhere - but we're confident that if you have, the process won't have been as simple as it is at Lottomart.
KYC starts with verifying you are of legal age to enjoy our games and ensuring the information you provided on signup is correct. For these, we work with trusted third parties to seamlessly do this in the background, but for more complex checks we may have to request additional information we can't otherwise verify automatically. When this happens, we want to make it as easy as possible for you.
What information do we ask for and why?
Depending on the circumstances, we might ask you for:
- Identity & address details to ensure we know you are who you say you are.
- Payment details to ensure any payment method you use belongs to you.
- Win verification so we know that you've successfully received your big payout.
- Income proof that shows your play is safe and at a level that suits you; and/or
- Additional due diligence to comply with our regulatory obligations.
All information you provide to use will be treated confidentially and stored securely in accordance with data protection laws and in line with our privacy policy.
How do we ask for your info?
To keep your data secure, all information requests will come directly from us and not via a third party. They will first come to you via messages and reminders directly in the app entitled “Verification required” or “Documents required”.
To make it even easier, these requests will be accompanied by emails and push notifications explaining exactly why we are asking and what you need to do.
How to submit documents
Go directly to the upload centre in the app, which is accessed by:
- The Docs Required link in the left hand menu of the app,
- An in-app message or reminder, and/or
- An email or push notification we've sent you.
Once there, the upload centre will guide you through simple, step-by-step instructions. It's really easy and should take a matter of minutes.
How will I know I'm done?
Once your documents are submitted, you'll stop receiving reminders. Our dedicated team will do its best to review your info as soon as possible so you can get back to enjoying your account.
As soon as we're ready, we'll follow up with an email and a push notification to let you know you're good to go.
Why did I receive a follow-up?
Sometimes information can be a bit blurry, cut off, or otherwise missing. We might follow up with an email or push notification to ask for a clearer picture (for example) if the first submission wasn't quite right.
Any follow up requests will explain what was missing and give you easy instructions to follow directly in the upload centre.
